Spiral Plug Dams
Innovative Bowling has developed a new design in plug dams that is going to save you time, money, and space, while eliminating all the waste. No more need for both round and oval dams in your shop.
They are 4.75” diameter discs that each roll out to 141” continuous length and are packaged with 10 discs per box, giving you a total of 1410” per box. They are taller than traditional plug dams to account for the large holes left behind by interchangeable thumbs.
Roll out enough material to circle the hole you are plugging and stick it to the ball. Wrap the hole in a clockwise manner, overlap the two ends 3/8” or more and squeeze the overlap together as you stick it to the ball. Even with slow curing plug materials, we never had a leak during testing. If you are nervous about the overlap, just put a drop of super glue between the two ends as you squeeze them together and stick to the ball.
