Sanding and Installation Tool (S.I.T.) by N-CYT Bowling
This tool allows you to use your mill to set thumb inserts without the possibility of damaging the mill.
Prior to the creation of this tool we advised removing the ball from the jig and setting the slug with a mallet on your workbench. This tool sands the hole which removes the excess friction that could damage a mill when used to press the slug into the hole.
Jig the ball, drill the hole for the slug, chuck the SIT and clean the hole then use the base of SIT to install the slug, chuck proper drill bit and drill the thumb hole. Fast with perfectly centered holes every time.
